Today was an incredibly tough stage. Absolutely one of the hardest so far. All gravel and always straight up the mountain. I've never experienced the first gear being not enough and slipping while climbing. Today, climbed almost 900 meters on very steep gravel. In addition, headwind the whole way.

And the idea that it's flat along the coast is really an illusion. There are just mountains here. 
I wanted to reach the city of Sundsvall in two days. Due to the climbing work, not much was done in terms of kilometers today. That means tomorrow will be a long stage. If it doesn't repeat today, it’s feasible.

The weather was surprisingly good today. Grey was forecasted, but had sun all day.

By the way, impressed with the sturdiness of the bike, rims, and tires. With 155 kg system weight going over 50 km/h downhill on rough gravel, so stones of 5 cm.
