The first Greenways

Today marks the first start in Spain!
And also the first Vías Verdes, although they are mini Vías Verdes with a few tunnels.
I captured the very first one well on video. As a tunnel, it’s not impressive, but there can only be one first.

I took it easy today.
A few more kilometers and then a serious via verde begins, not only in terms of distance but also one from the top of Spain, they say, so I’m curious!

It’s very green here, it briefly felt like I was looking at mountains in a tropical rainforest.
The weather takes some getting used to; it’s cool in the evenings and mornings, but it can get quite warm in the afternoon.

Yes, if you're used to reindeer and suddenly ride among palm trees, that is quite different.
I also saw a bamboo forest here, only seen before in Africa, so I’m already getting a bit of the African vibes. 🥥🍉🐘
