Island Leknes

I'm now on the island Leknes of the Lofoten.

Yesterday it rained all day and night. With a harsh wind as well. Late in the morning it stopped and I went cycling.
For safety and comfort, I got a better raincoat. One where you can fully close the hood. Definitely handy. The old one was much too small.

I had a nice ride and didn't suffer much from my legs, as long as you take it easy. That's certainly a blessing in disguise.
Now on a new island and it looks rugged. Set up tent right next to a Fjord.

It's going to rain continuously again soon and it will stop tomorrow morning so I can do the last ride over the Lofoten without rain to the final destination. I think about 80km. That is also certainly a blessing.
I see very dark clouds approaching the island and have already taken extra care to ensure the tent is well secured.

The day after tomorrow it will rain all day but then I'll be on the boat to Bodo. That's back to the mainland.

The expectation is that the weather will improve over the course of next week.
